Become an Intellectual Groomers Master Stylist!
Designed for Advanced Stylists, Competitive Stylists or Stylists who are wanting ot push themselves to be the best they can be. This program includes practical tests on 4 dogs, written tests on Sporting, Non-Sporting and Terrier groups and then culminates in the Master Stylist Test.
You will need to certify using a Sporting, Non-Sporting, Long Legged Terrier and Short Legged Terrier. Hand strip is optional, but showing the technique is a plus. If you do not have a purebred dog available you can use a mixed breed provided a breed profile is achieved on the dog (ie: Yorkie may be groomed like a westie).

You will receive an individual certificate in each group as well as the IGMS certificate. Safety and Sanitation course is included and required to pass the Master test.
Each group test is $100 and the Master is an additional $75. You must be a member in good standing to test. We offer memberships that include the testing at no additional charge.
You may test using competition dogs, on video (Uploaded or live via Skype or Video Chat) or at classes we attend.
Dogs must have a minimum of 6 weeks growth and be properly bathed and dried prior to certification testing.
